PolyBush Softness?

Sep 05, 2004 1 Replies

Ok i hate the way my series 3 throws me from left to right as i drive down broken tarmac or Hard mud roads. Ive fitted parabolics, ES3000 Bigger tyres..ATs instead of MT.

Is there any way i can get a smoother ride over the bumps out of my 88.

Ive been told polybushes will help but what colour ones do i need.. the softest possible?

Everything is smooth in my friends 90 but my 88 shakes me to peices on the same road.

So much for the parabolic adverts ( get that coiler ride ) hah!

any ideas?

Stick to Genuine Parts bushes especially if the vehicle ever goes offroad - when 7 polybushes have failed in one day of offroading ( 2 cars, various makes of bush ) you start to realise how good the poly bush adverts were and how lousy the products are!!!

What parabolics did you buy? There are some fairly crap ones out there - but TIC, Rocky Mountain or British Springs LTD ones. Some of the cheap copies of the British Springs Ltd ones work sometimes but not others - it seems to be a gamble some choose to take: buy the cheap ones and hope I get a good set! Pay £50 more and get some that you know will work !!
