Range Rover Brakes

RR 2002, had a brake pad warning came up and the "eba" lamp went from amber to red at about the same time. Have changed the front pads and also had to change the "pad" sensor due to damage. However the eba lamp still remains on red. Anybody have any ideas what may have happened?

Er, not yet. Since "oily" mentioned that low brake fluid levels could light the lamp it was decided to double check. The level was just below max unfortunately, however on a whim the cable was disconnected from the sensor in the brake fluid reservoir and the engine given a few revs and then the cable was replaced and few more revs applied. Lo and behold no more red EBA lamp and it went through its normal sequence on start up. Anyone care to explain? Will keep a close watch for the next few days.

I think you've just found out how to clear the EBA fault codes!
