anybody know what this light means

ITs a red light that appears intermittently beside the handbrake light
I have a feeling its a faulty/loose brake pad wear sensor.
I have a 98 Fiat Marea Weekend
Any ideas?

Yep, the front brake pad wear sensor.
That light, I believe, refers to any brake error. Could even be low fluid, so you should get that looked at ASAP.

If it is only intermittant, then it is probably just a low fluid level. If it comes on when braking, then it will probably be the pads. Mine used to come on going up/down hills when the level was low. (2000 Marea WE)
