Range Rover EAS

Hi all,

Took the Rangie in to Nick Kerner's to have the brake fluid replaced (not expensive and certainly a lot less hassle than doing it myself). They also took a look at the EAS and diagnosed leaky rear springs, which doesn't surprise me too much.

I can get genuine replacement springs from Brookwell's for £137.82 a piece, or non-genuine for £96.53, which is quite a saving. Does anybody have any opinions on whether it's worth paying the extra for the genuine ones?

TIA David.

If the non-genuine ones are Arnotts, then they should be OK. I don't know the pedigree of any other make.

I bought non-genuine ones from Wolston Garage for £130 each VAT inclusive. They were manufactured by Dunlop so I guess they're ok.
