Range Rover V7 - doh

OK.

I presume my 1997 is also a GEMS - as far as I understand the A&R box allows the ECU to work as normal on petrol, and then when it switches to lpg it still works as normal but adds whatever degree of advance to each spark you have set the box to. Whatever ever happens, it runs brilliantly on lpg with the box, much better than prior to fitting so it's worth it to me. :)

On the Magnecor line, I too have happily jet washed Piglet's engine while running (much to the horror of the AA man replacing a tyre next to me!)...everything is fine. Obviously you never fire water directly at the coil/dizzy/maf/air intake(!) but hey....you should be able to soak the engine with no ill effects, it's not like all the oil inside escapes is it (er....forget that statement!)

it's not like all the oil inside

It doesn't escape - it's designed to be a gradual loss lubrication system . . . . . ;-)
