Of course the simple answer is to declare it :0) Pleanty of insurance companies are happy with mods. Percy never patted an eyelid with the Landrover specialist insurance companies. Many of whom I still use.

I intend to, unless they're going to be totally silly about it. insurance for hire and reward is a bit harder to shop around for, but there're more then one company even so, and I use a pretty reasonable broker.
