that's even more iffy than the oxy-acetylene lamp.

Hmmm. If we end up camping, I've just acquired a Vapalux M320 storm lantern, and I also have a Bialaddin bowl fire, so there's scope for more flames and fire-type amusement :-) Hopefully, Steve will come and bring his firepit.

We had great fun in the office making prototypes for a fold up version

- I still have a pile of cardboard mini-templates'. That was, of course, the event with the nuclear BBQ...

Garlic bread? Garlic? Bread?

Would love to come, although may not be for the whole weekend. Work pressure around then is going to be big. If it's within striking distance and Di doesn't fancy it, I might well turn up on the bike and tent it. As long as I could cadge a ride in someone's Landy for the fun bits ...

Sorry - Di and caravan, with oven, stocked with Garlic Bread is mandatory. I may even try to relearn the entire Alices Restaurant (in

4 part harmony) :-)

I'd forgotten about that. Di is now down in the book as the legendary purveyor of fine Garlic Bread. No man could ask for more, well, not much more, obviously ;-)

I'd hope it's Saturday 30th, Sunday 31st August and Monday 1st September - at least that's usually the sort of time (last weekend).

Hopefully someone will confirm this before I setup an event on ulrc :-)

It's the 25th of August this year, 31st August next year. It's not in September any time between now and 2011.

If I get the landy sorted, yer welcome. If not I'll be doing the same.

Nope. 23rd/24th and the Monday is 25th. last monday in August, don'tchaknow. In fact, that's as early as it can be.

If we plan for the main event on Saturday/Sunday then I reckon a spot of laning if possible Monday morning as an "extra".

Note that the oirish get two extra bank holidays, one revolving around religion, and the other revolving around fighting. Perhaps we need more religion and fighting in this part of the country!

Don't think it ever is - always the last Monday in August IIRC
