Tyre wear

Ok, It's not a landy, but you guys are all (ok some of you are) terribly knowlegable chaps........

Passenger side front wheel on a Seat Alhambra

Wear down to the the canvas on the outside, but loads of tread on the rest of the tyre. Other side is fine, so surely tracking being out would wear both?

My tyre dealer says powersteering?

Sugestions?

Thanx!!

Sounds like Milton Keynes Tyre syndrome. Do you have lots of roundabouts in your area? Front left tyre on MK cars regularly wear like this due to lots of fairly high speed roundabouts.

I agree with the colonel. You could also check your toe in/out (tracking) this can exagerate wear produced when cornering.

Get the "Toe in/out" checked and adjusted to your manufacturers spec. (look it up before you go)
