I thought the weather only changed when I decide to wash the car!

You could have waited until we'd got the canvas for ours and gone out in it at least once;-(

same here that's why I don't wash mine anymore

Ours only get washed once a year...if you're lucky!

I didn't say I actually wash the car - just decide that it should be done. Our Disco is 2 1/2 years old and I haven't washed it (I'm too short). It has had a couple of trips through the car wash - only to get salt off after driving on the beach!

I don't do ours either, cos I'm too short as well. I get to do the inside.

Well the Disco had a bit of a scare, the poor thing, just before we went away as Bruce gave it a quick wash with the pressure washer to use the water up in the water tank and got the worst off. I think it may have protested if he had attempted to do the underneath - bits falling off and large oil leaks appearing, which isn't what you want to happen when you want it to tow a twin axle caravan over the mountains to Wales. The RR has escaped a wash since it got waxoiled underneath about three years ago. We live on a main road and my father-in-law, who lives next door, cleans his shiny white Rover religiously every Saturday morning. We don't notice the grime and filth that gets chucked up on ours, by the buses, cars and lorries that go past all week, but he has sworn to kill our cat if it goes on his bonnet again with muddy feet.

Cats on the bonnet....bloody things, I sat waiting for one by my RR after I'd washed it. Imagine how suprised it was when I got it with one of the kids 'supersoaker' water guns!! It's still been back on tho' since so I'm not washing it again!
