wobbly 110

110 CSW 200Tdi with later Landy 5-spoke alloys shod with BFG Mud Terrains. Used everyday but only short trips, main job is Sunday greenlaning or pay'n'play quarry days. Doesn't 'wander' or tramline, but does feel a little wobbly at dual carraigeway speeds and can pitch and roll a bit on roundabouts. So, is polybushing the answer to this? Is PaddockSpares kit

a reasonable one? Last but not least, whatshould I pay to have someone fit that kit for me? Cheers!

replacing the bushes with standard ones is cheaper and solves most of the problems. That and maybe new dampers, standard again. The problems with bushes are normally not what they're made of but that they're shagged.

Thanks for that. Again though, any guess as to what I should pay labour for fitting a set of bushes (standard OR poly :o)

Check your bushes out by all means, but also have a look at the steering damper and/ot its bushes.

Check your steering alignment, I found mine was set with toe out and putting it to neutral made the steering less vague.

That's what beamends advised and I'll be fitting them on mine when they arrive.

I've found the 109" way better now it's not got the damper on it.

forgot to suggest alignment, but someone else has, so that's OK. Set it (or get it set) parallel, IME. Knackered steering damper (again IME) makes for interesting shimmy effect on bumpy corners.

Also check all the ball joints in the steering - iffy ball joints can cause this - there are, at least, 2 fewer than on the series.
