I love those guys at Allisport.

Took my car up there today - I'd been playing with the fuelling and managed to get a bit more kick out of it myself.

They take it out, raise the boost 1PSI from where I'd had it, tweak the fuelling a little and now damned if the thing won't wheelspin.

Their magic touch has done wonders for the across-the-range torque.

I've now got a 200TDI Disco that performs better than my old TD5 did and within a whisker of a good few V8s I've met. It loses it a bit at the top end, but to be honest I don't want to take this car over 90MPH if I can avoid it anyway.

so knowing how to set it up makes the difference?

What did it cost ?

How long did they take ?

Did they show you what they did and how to maintain the performance ?

;)

Seems that way, yep.

It cost me £20 for the turbo and fuelling change, but I'd already spend £290 on an uprated intercooler to get the best out of it.

It took them 15 minutes and most of that was blasting around the place to check the setup.

And no - they didn't show me what they'd done.

Cool ..

Doesn't it make you sick when they're _that_ quick and you've fossicked for hours doing sod all of any use ...

Bastards ... ;) At that price it probably doesn't matter anyway .. ;)
