Yokohama AVS V801 - 285/70R16
Has anybody any experience of running these tyres on a Defender with (Land Rover) alloy wheels?

Not on a LR but I've run similar Yokos on ordinary cars.
Their overall height is around the same as a 750x16 so no problem there but they are very wide so they will reduce the turning circle and wear out the wheel bearings and steering gear quickly. And of course they will be truly s**te off-road but you probably guessed that from looking at them! :)
