hmm I just paid 278 quid to get my new clutch fitted, is this about right ? It was a bit of an emergency !

yes.. I think I would have got quotes, but the RAC man was waiting to tow my car !

I'm not too sure about the 306 but it's not outrageous. A 1.9 Xantia clutch cost me 225 of your earth pounds and that was from the pug/cit specialist I use. A fast fit clutch centre quoted me something like £275.
I asked a Pug dealer for a 306 1.4 1998/S clutch replacement quote and I was told £250 inc VAT. Not yet looked around elsewhere - but gave me a ball park figure to work from.
