306 Air Con

Low (out) of gas, I am lucky I have a friend who regasses for me The machine he uses sucks out the remaining gas, checks for vacuum/ dries (30minutes) and refills with the correct amount takes an hour and he doesn't go near it in that time!( unless it registers a fault like a drop in pressure) he charges £60.

Or ..guess what....EBAY for cartriges of gas.

Can anyone give me some advice on a non-working aircon unit.

I turned it on last week to test (in preparation for the really hot summer I am hoping for), and although the lights on the button are all working, the air is still warm.

Cheers

Tony

Cos you didnt excersise it over the winter, the seals have dried out, and the gas has escaped :(

tim.

Tim Does this mean an expensive trip to the garage, or can I do it myself?
