I had a dee dah horn wired to my Renault 12. I found it in a civil defence base I was working in (the horn not the car). The fuse was rated at 30A IIRC, when I used it you could see the battery charge meter moving steadily to the debit side. Bloody good fun though, it cleared people out of the way really well though some looked a bit miffed that they had been moved over by a LH drive Renault.

I bought a pair of Halfords' 'Super Brilliance' H4 bulbs this evening. They too are stamped 'Mega light plus' and also, I presume, the manufacturer 'GE'.
I've put them in but not tried driving with them yet. After replacing the bulb in just one headlight then comparing the old and new by standing in front of the car and examinig the light output I wouldn't say that the new bulb was 50% brighter then the old bulb although it definitely did emit a slightly whiter light. Not sure they're worth the premium over standard bulbs when the sale isn't on (£12.99 each normally).
I must admit that I wasn't too sure what to expect not having knowlingly seen the Osram equivalents.
