After some nice kids set my cheap runabout alight yesterday (C Reg VW Polo), now burnt-out and written off, I have to buy a replacement car. I'll buy another polo as I have loads of spares for them "in stock" and it never let me down once in 3 1/2 years hard service. Unfortunatley it's not worth me losing my no-claims to put it through the insurance for a cheap car, so I have to buy the replacement out of my pocket. - I can protect the no claims when it reaches 4 years - in 4 months time! Any ideas how I can discourage the little sh1ts doing the same again to the replacement car? Does anyone take any notice of alarms?
They returned after my car had been put out by the fire brigade and torched another car in the same car park, a J reg MKIII astra van. Looks like "older" cars are the target.
