Brake discs

S'not a problem - if they should both be changed then I'll change both; I was just asking if it's The Thing To Do as I've *never* had to change a brake disc on any of my cars, and this one's not mine.

FWIW the last 20 odd discs I've bought have all come in pairs anyway, I doubt you'll be able to buy a single one.

Actually I do. :) I always buy a decent set of radials from the likes of Goodyear/Toyo/Dunlop etc etc, I never use remoulds (mainly because I tend to drive at high speeds regularly and not just potter around town). Never had problems with steering or suspension components fortunately but once again I wouldn't economise if I did suffer these problems.
