I have just changed the rear drivers side brake light because I thought it was faulty but the fault remains.

The brake light doesnt come on unless you tap (quite hard) the red plastic cover.

Its a fibre glass body if that helps.

I havent a clue about car things so any help is appreciated.

Thanks millan

Also I have seen this kit on eBay, how hard is it to mop a car with one of these. Do they really bring the paintwork back up?

Yes they do but if you're not careful with what you're doing, you can easily burn the paint or buff right through it, especially on corners.

I remember this same sort of fault on an early Espace of a workmate's so over 15 years ago. The bulb contacts within the lamp assembly were bare brass and corroded. Cleaning them sorted it. Not impressed for a few months old car. And it was the driver's side rear brake light too. ;-)

Hi Dave

Thank you Sir, I will give that a go.

Cheers

Thank you Conor, much obliged to you Sir

Hi again Dave

Well I cleaned the contact with some wet and dry and its been on since. Not a single problem with it now, job fixed.

MANY THANKS for the advice, much appreciated

Millan
