Just got on the motorway today with my van (posted on this forum as it seems to be a mix of corsa and astra) 53plate with 150K on the clock, in LPG mode, doing about 80MPH when the van seemed to lose power and the Engine Light Started Flashing, the van seemed able to maintain 60Mph but no-more, with the EML "lump light" flashing whenever i touched the throttle.
I pulled off at the next junction and switched off, i did the two pedal test which threw up the following codes
0301
and
0335
Now as i am not totally sure which engine it uses, it appears there are about 4 slightl different 1.6 engines used in the Corsa/Astra of that period. I'm not totally sure as to what the codes mean, but from what i can gleen 0301 is misfire on number 1 cylinder, which would tally as it when restarted it was running as as a bears arse but soon settled down to being normal, but perhaps missing some power - but maybe thats because i have some weight in it.
0335 remains a a bit of a mystery.
As a bit of history, that car was MoT'd on friday and before that had the offside outer CV boot replaced.
Plugs, filters and general service done in October last year, about 10K ago, with an oil and filter change in Jan/feb this year. So i guess the plugs are about due.
And ideas where to go with this one and any further information on what may be causing these issues?
