Company Car - Auris

Avoid the Pious, anything else will be nicer.

Given a choice of Toyotas, I'd pick whichever one cost me the least.

Ahhh, well, that depends on which rate of tax you pay, obviously.

I'm doing a fiddle on mine as a 'salary exchange' on pension contributions, which keeps my car tax at the 20% level.

Heh, seriously, though - Auris or Pious. I'd take the Pious and cut my tax by 50%.

Why would you want to?

IMO the Auris is a hateful car with no redeemable features at all (having had the 2L D4D as a brand new rental). Actually I'm telling a lie it has one nice feature it has a cool dash that will keep you interested for literally seconds. To be honest the 2L D4D somehow felt totally gutless (I'm more used to 1.9 PD engines).

Well, I'd go 2.0D4D T3 if that was the only choice, but the Avensis is such an underrated car I'd say sod the size, get the big one, or go for the tax-efficient Prius, it'll save you enough money in tax to stick an interesting older car on the drive for weekends.
