Hi all Please help! The front door switches that turn on the interior lights have packed up. The interior lights work and when the rear doors are opened,the lights work perfectly. Also,the 'door open' warning light on the dash has stopped working on the front doors and the 'lights on' warning buzzer has stopped I know french electrics are only 2nd to italian electrics in their temperental nature,but this is weird Cheers Spike

Probably just corrosion on the terminals on the door plunger.
Got that wrong. French (especially renaults) electrics are far worse than italian!
As Conor has said, most likely the door switches, which may be either be seperate items, or built into the door locks.
