help - possible starter prob?

ok for a few weeks now my battery has been quite flat because I left theinterior light on by accident. Anyway, if I push started it it would chargeup ok after a drive. but in the last week when I turn the ignition, there isno sound at all, not even the starter trying to start. I charged up thebattery last night and the headlights work etc, but when I turn key there isstill no noise at all from starter. I have to park on a hill everywhere so Ican bump start it.Do you think the starter will be knackered? is there anything I shouldcheck? Car is a Rover 25, 3 years old.
