book says 'saab or GM power steering fluid', which is, you may have guessed, for the power steering on a saab. anyway, it needs topping up. is it just some dexron II or what?

Depends what model, if it's a classic 900 it's supposed to be some special texaco/saab stuff, but I've got away with clear slick50 PAS fluid (says it's GM compatible)

If it's a newer model I think it's anything that states GM compatibility on the pack. I guess thats dexron III
