How to find correct winter tyre sizes

The manual for my A3* says the correct winter tyre size can be found in the 'EU Certificate of Conformity'. (You'd think they would just put it in the owners manual wouldn't you!) But to get a copy of said EUCoC costs ? 89!

Unless you know different. ...?

Nothing on Audi website. I'm miles from a dealer and Mytyres lists three different sizes. Any ideas?

Any of those three would be fine. If it was a higher-power version, you might have to think about minimum rim size to fit over the front brakes. Other than that, you've got six months to worry about it.

Some VAG cars have the alternate tyre sizes (and pressures) inside the fule filler. Other than that email or call Audi customer services, or ask at

It's only low-double-figures and sunny here.

But if you've got to mid-March without worrying about it, you'll survive six more months.

*I* don't need 'em as naturally, I have far better driving skills that average. ;-) That, and the fact that I live in Ayrshire and whilst it's snowing at the moment, it'll probably be all gone by this afternoon.

Ah yes, that's the Scotland we love! - As the saying goes, "If you don't like the weather just wait ten minutes."

That's the place! In fact I notice they list several sizes of M+S tyres in there.

Thanks. Slatts
