Leyland DAF 200 (Sherpa) Seat Belt Assembly

Dec 07, 2004 1 Replies

I've just fitted a dual passenger seat to my 1993 LDV 200 as I didn't remove the seat and seat belts I didn't see the how the belts were anchored.

They utilise the original two floor holes for the three belts. Could someone take a picture of or describe the floor anchor points?

I'm particularly interested in which way the lapbelt goes (buckle end or stalk drivers side?); the placing and use of the "L" shaped mount and the position of the belt anchor in relation to the stalk anchor outermost passenger.

Many thanks!

Right, I've just been and looked at mine. The centre passenger`s (lap only) belt has a flexy stalk which shares the boltdown point for the drivers flexy stalk. The strap is bolted down sharing the point with the stalk of the N/S passenger`s belt. I can't see an L shaped mount, but the belts may be a different type to yours, also the reservoir for the tipping gear is quite close to it which may have changed things.
