hello

can someone please advise if they can on where the tdc plug is on the block is on a mk2 2000/w Eudora 1.8 engine

On the mk1 the Haynes manual says its under the alternator but the mk1 I had is was under the injection pump

I have had a look and I cannot see it - It could be hidden by the air con compressor if it is can it be reached without taking the compressor off ?

thanks in advance

The plug has always been in the same place. It's just what happens to be in front of it that changes.

thanks for your response so i need to take the compressor off ?

I was hoping somebody else would answer that, as I've never done one with aircon, so can't give you an accurate answer.

I have done one, and I don't remember moving the compressor, if you do unbolt the compressor just leave all the pipes connected, it is not a problem.

its a pig i have taken the compressor of the mouting bracket to get at the plug theres not much room thats for sure

thanks to all who responded
