Mondeo clutch gone?

Autodata book's it as a 5.3 hour job, If you can supply and fit for under £200 your hourly rate is very reasonable!

The message from "Fred" £200 your hourly rate is very reasonable!

For a Mondeo done properly it's bleeding miraculous!

The problem was with the spline connecting the driveshaft with the [whatever]. The driveshaft kit cost £93 and was fitted as a 'homer', so cost not much more than £100. Phew!

Incidentally, this is the first time the powertrain (ie engine, clutch, gearbox etc?) has been touched in 185k (apart, of course, from routine maintenance,) which must be almost a record for a Mondeo?
