New tyres on back - now rear of car wobbles

Got Kia Sedona (big 7 seater people carrier).

Anyway, got new tyres on the back and since then I'm sure it looks like the back seats are wobbling around. I can also feel vibration through the car.

This seems to happen when I reach 50-55mph. Go faster and it stops...

Any ideas? Bad wheel balancing?

(BTW. Have already checked wheel nuts and tyre pressure)

get decent quality tyres, correctly fitted on unbent rims and balanced on a regularly serviced machine and you won't have any problems.

Get cheapies, fitted by chimps using a manky old balancer on damaged rims and you will have what you have got.

Bolts are fine. Rims are fine.

Cant comment on the quality of fitting or tyres but I've never had problems with this particular tyre place before. I think I might go back and have a word though.

Or tyre failure (a bulge caused by belts separating). It once happened to me with a new Continental, so no manufacturer is completely immune.

Probably, you might have soft bushes on the back that makes it more obvious, but 1st port of call is the balance. Then (& I'm not joking ) jack them up & spin them & check they're actually round.

Got them to change the tyres now for different ones.

Problem hasnt gone away but got a lot better. Just wondering what else it could be.

Someeone mentioned soft bushes on the back?

Yep I would be looking at the rear suspension bushes and the sway bar bushes.

Does the back have a clunk/rattle?

Did the tyre fitting place have a look at the suspension when the wheels were off? They usually do, and check it out so they can on sell parts. (suspension bits, shocks and brakes.)
