ODB II recommends?

Been looking to get a "decent" obd-II reader but there's so many is a bit tricky to decide. Anyone care to recommend one? Would be nice to have one that does datalogging so can drive around to see if any errors show up. thanks

ps anyone here really into this stuff - CAN bus, pico techno digital auto scopes etc? If so, do you have a website I can drooooll over :-)

Fault codes are stored; data logging is handy if you're into geeky stuff

If you're looking at the error codes from Vauxhall Cars - don't bother with a code reader. Main dealers rip customers off (Lookers!) by stating they need to read codes. They don't. Put your foot on the brake and accelerator and push both right down, turn the key until the dashboard lights come on but DO NOT start the car. After a few seconds the mileage display will change to "ECN XXXXXXX" and show a number relating to the faults stored. You can find what they mean on any Vauxhall forum.

CANBUS is a good idea but horrible system to work on sometimes. When it goes wrong it really goes wrong, no changing a switch or wire.
