Skoda Octavia vRS 54 plate - 1.8T Where is the oil filter?
I've marked what sure looked like the oil filter. Standing in front of the car looking into the engine bay it was located in a central position lower down on the front of the engine. A black cylinder about the size of a mug/beaker as I'd have expected and angled down towards the front of the car. It had the word filter on and lots of german but not oil filter anywhere I could see.
Reason I ask is it's gone in for dealer servicing and I want to be sure i'm paying for a new oil filter and not the old one cleaned up to look new. I couldn't get access to see clearly this morning before it went in if I was mistaken.
