Does anyone know if other two part hardeners work with Isopon P38 as I cannot find mine but have some for araldite and another epoxy?

Araldite or other epoxy ones will be no good. But I think any polyester resin hardner should be fine, e.g. as used for normal fibreglass. Loads on Google.

Cheers, I've ordered a new can off ebay rather than mess about just buying the hardener.
One tube of hardener will be enough for two cans. Just make sure you mix it well.
