my break light is constantly on even when lights are switched off! now everytime i press the clutch the break lights goes off then on again once the clutch is released any ideas what is causing this?

my break light is constantly on even when lights are switched off! now everytime i press the clutch the break lights goes off then on again once the clutch is released any ideas what is causing this?
