I've got an N reg Proton Persona SEi1.6. One window at the back doesn't respond and I've noticed the front passenger side window action seems to be getting 'weary'. Sometimes it doesn't quite close properly and needs two or three goes before it closes fully. I was thinking of stripping the door down and doing a d-i-y repair but I've never done an electric window before so before I do I'd appreciate any pointers from those with experience. Do the motors wear out and get weaker with age? or is there some other reason why the window action gets laboured and slow... Thanks for any help.
