It's a fairly common issue on the Cinq and Punto.
The only cure is to replace the trailing arms as the bushes aren't available seperately.

FIAT don't do the bushes separately, but Powerflex do trailing-arm bushes (not listed on their website but a powerflex reseller will know what to order). Can't recall the price exactly but less than half of the FIAT price for new trailing arms, anyway (yes, I've had to do this).

I haven't, because I don't have one, but my brother does.
I refer to is as a teachest on castors or an Italian biscuit tin on castors :-)

It's tiny, I drove it today and I can't get used to the taste of the windscreen ;) I have a Pug 405 and with both cars parked front to the fence, the cinqecento only goes back as far as the front of the back wheel. I'll get one of the kids to hold it up while I replace the bushes.
