remove the ignition lock from a ford Fiesta 1994

Can anyone shed some light on how to remove the ignition lock from a



1994 Fiesta. I have to replace the barrel as it necked I have taken the cover and the wires off

turn the lock to position 1 and depress the spring through the little hole (you need a piece of stiff wire such as coathanger) the barrel can now come out.
