Hi all. I've just bought a door on ebay and I've got to fetch it from Sheffield to Liverpool. Can you recommend a roof rack for the job? I drive a P reg, 214.

Sorry. Should have said, heavy hardwood door for the house.
Two Thule roof bars and a decent ratchet strap then.
What I'd do: Large, thick bit of foam between the door and roof, a ratchet strap through the back windows to hold it tight, plus ropes down to the front and rear of the car to stop the door moving backwards or forwards. Choose a day when it's not raining.
