The clutch would appear to be dragging badly. Can't get it into gear with engine running, crunches when trying reverse. When you fire up engine in gear and clutch down, car wants to move forward, and smoke from clutch. Cable appears to be adjusted ok, but I've only seen the car in pitch black tonight. Any ideas?
It needs a new clutch.
