[Slightly OT] What does SLD mean when talking about vans?

As the subject really.

TIA, Organoman.

The message from Organoman contains these words:

Slightly Dented. It's the standard package.

Doh, of course :-)

Organoman.

Guy King ( snipped-for-privacy@zetnet.co.uk) gurgled happily, sounding much like they were saying :

You're right about it being standard fitment, but wrong about the meaning.

It usually stands for "Sun Left on Dash".

Or a fortnight's worth of Suns, Stars and Burger King detritus. Do you think the manufacturers think about this accumulation of junk when deciding where to put the windscreen defroster vents on a new model? It must be a consideration, surely ;-)

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold. I remember Organoman saying something like:

Slightly Loutish Driver.

Others are...

SHR Severely Homophobic Racist

LWB Leering Wankers on Board

SWB Short Willy Bombast
