Grease as it'll hang about a bit. WD40 goes gummy after a bit, oil will do the job but won't hang around as long as grease.

er, sorry to ask such a newbie question, but I am one.
The door squeaks when you (or I) open/close it. Is is best to put grease or oil ? on the arm that joins the door to the body, thanks, tom
