Xasara HiFi

Jan 18, 2004 2 Replies

A friend of mine (in UK) has got a 2000 model year Citreon Xasara 2.0HDI, with the standard Citreon radio/cassette.

He fancies the idea of a Sony MP40 CD/Radio head unit, plus the adaptor to get the steering wheel controls working with the new head unit.

Does he need to buy anything more than these 2 bits? e.g does he need a facia adapter, or an adapter harness?

Also, does the existing unit come out with the 'standard' 2 prong removal tool?

TIA

Have a look at the autoleads website for the clobber they sell to wire stereos up to the Xsara. They tell you what you need for pretty much any model of car. Try uk.rec.audio.car for the info on the removal tools.

Will do - cheers for the advice.
