Try eBay: Home > Buy > Automotive > In-Car Entertainment & GPS > Fascia Plates
Couldn't see anthing Mazda 6 flavoured today, maybe Halfords?

Um, try Mazda?

Why would Mazda want to sell it? The whole idea is to get rid of a Mazda CD player.

Because not everyone likes the Mazda CD players.
For example, I have a Nakamichi head unit in my Alfa that I'm very fond of indeed.
If the car I was about to buy had some nasty, 'orrible, factory fit tat in and there was no way of getting rid of it (and it was a Mazda) Mazda would lose a sale. So they tend to have such things available.
Yes indeed. That is why I am asking for an after market adaptor.
Do car manufacturers produce their own facia adaptors?? I always thought it was 3rd party.
Personally I wouldn't let my choice of stereo dictate whether I bought the car or not but I can see your point. Mazda certainly don't do the adaptor I am looking for as the adaptor replaces the whole centre column. Before:
Halfords now do a range of these as well as the ISO connector adapters, not cheap though.

Considering they cost $170 from America, I'm not that bothered how much they cost over here.
Steven.
