i have a slight problem with the engine reving between 2000 and 3000 revs. the engine stutters slightly, its not a bad stutter but it is there even when the engine is warm or cold.
the car is a 2002 astra estate, 1.6 8valve petrol.
anyone had this happen? and any idea what it can be, the electrics seem to be fine.
Usually the EGR valve on these IMHO.

thanks tim. i will clean it out when i get the time.
I'm not sure of the design of the Astra EGR but generally cutting a blanking plate to block off the egr passage gives better smoother performance and increased mpg.
must admit i have never heard of that one.
