I've gone 'Kool' - Kooler than Krak dealer with a Kar full of Ho's.
I've got Style - or, to be more precise, a Proton Savvy 'Style'...
Thanks to the adherents of *real* 'cool', who wouldn't see their Grandmother buried in a Proton (but who happily pay 3K - 5K for a tat-mobile with a 'cool' badge and 70,000+ miles on the clock) I bought a 2 year old Savvy with less than 9,000 miles (owned by the proverbial old git who wobbled out weekly to get his pension) for 3.5K
It looks new, it even smells new - and it still has 4 years manufacturer's warranty covering engine, gearbox, drive shafts, etc left on it.
Yes, it's quite noisy. Yes, it's needs that Renault engine pushing up the rev range to make it a motorway contender - but it has air-con, central locking, alloys, reverse sensors, electric windows, power steering, (and more) and it sticks to the road like glue - and, best of all, thanks to the snobs who would rather spend their money on a worn out pile of s**te that requires the personal intercession of the Pope to get it through the next MOT, it cost next to nothing.
It's fun to drive, as well - we've got an 08 4x4 - and this little Savvy is wonderful to take into town and park.
So, thanks again to all those whose heads are firmly up their own arses, and who help to keep Proton residuals on the floor.
Happy fixing...... ;)
