How much would people on here reckon to pay for replacing the timing belt on a 1998 clio 11 1.2l
I shall be going to see my favourite mechanic some time next week, need a few pointers.

the book says 2.3 hours, so about 50 - 100 quid plus bits, depending where you look.

Just had one done recently was 80 quid or thereabouts.

no, I mean two point three hours that is 2 hours 20 mins near enough.

Or 20 mins to do the belt an 2 hours looking for where you dropped that nut and washer ;-)
