Didn't look like the sort of place that deals in part-worns. Could be remoulds, where a normal budget tyre of the same size is only £15 or so.

Whoops, I'm always getting those two numbers mixed up. You're right, and I did get the correct ones. My reciept says 155/65R13T, and they are P3000 Engery's. The are the same size at the ones that the car had when it was born.

Ah, my tyres are =A341.90 from etyres. So I paid about an extra =A310, but had it done quicker. I'm quite pleased with what they've done too.

I think they probably aren't bad actually. My invoice says that they recommen that I have the nuts checked after 50 miles FOC. That's pretty good service! I suspect that they do it properly, or it would be pretty pointless checking them.

The pressures weren't too bad either. It's possible that they looked it up, but their book was wrong, my workshop manual is out by 0.1 bar on the rears IIRC. I looked in my manual, and the pressure's 2.1 for fronts, and 2.0 for the rears, so the rears were only out by 0.1 bar, and 0.2 bar on the fronts.

lol, there was that clip on one of those TV shows. This person had lost there wheel and had sparks flying out where the back of the car was rubbing along the road. The funny thing though is that they still hadn't reallised that there wheel had come off. The police car behind put his lights and siren on, and they didn't notice that either. Eventually they noticed the police car and pulled over, I believe the driver was drunk.
