Vaux Asstra 1400, inj 8 valve "N reg" stalls at 1st junction from cold every morning
Has had full service still problem persists

coating) so the fuel mixture remains weak in cold conditions. Quite soon, some one here will tell me that N reg Astras don't have temperature sensors.Then lots will state, 'carb icing'. Sooner than pay lots of money, try the old trick of an old army blanket on the engine overnight. Remember to remove it before driving off. DaveK.
Air by-pass valve.
Please tell us whether its the Hi torq single point or the standard multipoint injection engine...
