Apologies if this is not topical for the group. I need to find a new water pump for my trusty 1969 Nuffield 4/25 tractor, fitted with a BMC 1500 diesel. Got one in your workshop, or know someone who might have one in stock, please give me a shout. Sods law, it fails at the time I need the little tractor most. Only done 2000 hours. Thought about claiming against the manufacturer...... on second thoughts I have never fancied a seance. If anyone can help we would appreciate it greatly. Thanks Nick.

I think you will find this engine is in a few boats, so that might give you a lead somehow.

There is a company that specializes in nuffield spares, however I can't remember there name. They were able to supply a water pump overhaul kit, and severayl other new items when I rebuilt my brothers nuffield 460 a couple years ago. Try

Too obvious. ;-) The diesel must be different.
I can't see it bearing much relation to the original 1500 B Series petrol
- given just how weak they were.
