'set of EuroDezigns 6000K xenon gas filled bulbs. These bulbs will give you the HID look £8-99 a set buy now'

Seen these on ebay anyone tried them, any good. For a few pounds I wonder if they work. Want to fit them to a Picasso, maybe better to pay more for the Phillips ones

Thanks John in Kent

All bulbs are gas filled. Those bulbs are just normal xenon bulbs with a bit of blue paint on the outside, and they'll put out less light than a normal Xenon filled bulb. The Philips ones are good, the best price for them is at Ford dealer's parts desks in my experience. Better than websites / ebay etc.

The message from "Doki" contains these words:

And it's low in certain colours which makes complementary colours hard to see at night.

Doki ( snipped-for-privacy@spamtroNspidar.com) gurgled happily, sounding much like they were saying :

They won't. Well, they'll *work*, but they won't work any better than normal bulbs.

Genuine HID bulb-replacement kits are available, but they were around £600 last time I looked.

Don't you mean "Halogen"?
