Its now at the point where he never tells me he has seen another car. Because i take the piss!!! The rule is .... if he is out on a saturday afternoon, somewhere there is another bmw being viewed.....by him.

I think he got a bit miffed when i viewed a mere 8 bmws before settling on the last one.

To fussy i think. And i keep telling him there are much better cars around than bmws!!!

Many thanks for the list of pointers. I had a couple of other things but mainly the usual "applies to all cars" things.

I'm not sure it matters anymore. Any damage caused to the Nikasil coating would have showed long ago, since the petrol that caused it hasn't been available for some years, and is now illegal.
