I have a '93 (auto.) and the right horn button just quit working (the left one is fine) Can the buttin be removed from the steering wheel for service and/or replacement?

According to the Enthusiast Shop Manual, if the switches do not work, they have to replaced along with the steering wheel as an assembly.

Maybe someone else here has another idea, but the proximity of the explosive airbag would cause me to hesitate trying to spray in Radio Shack contact cleaner or something.

If the replacement cost is an objection, you might be able to find a good used one. Some places I have bookmarked:
